CSI and St. Luke’s Partner to Offer Part-time Registered Nursing Program

TWIN FALLS, Idaho – In collaboration with St. Luke’s Magic Valley, the College of Southern Idaho is excited to offer a part-time registered nursing program option through the CSI Associate of Science in Nursing Program. 该选择旨在为学生新葡京网上赌场提供与全日制注册护士课程相同的高水平质量指导和课程，但以兼职的方式进行，更容易适应工作和家庭义务。
“St. Luke’s has partnered with CSI by providing clinical opportunities for nursing students for many years,” said Andrea Blackburn, director of nursing and patient care at St. Luke’s Magic Valley. “We’re excited to further that relationship in an innovative way that will create another pathway for Magic Valley residents to pursue the nursing profession and help provide critical care for our community.”
Idaho, like the rest of the United States, is facing a critical and persistent shortage of registered nurses—a growing concern that significantly impacts patient care, public health outcomes, healthcare delivery, and the nursing profession at large. 兼职护理课程将通过更灵活的课堂教学和更轻的每周学习负担，使学生能够兼职工作和兼职学习，消除未来学生参加传统护理课程可能面临的一些障碍。
“The CSI Nursing Department is excited to collaborate with St. Luke’s to expand educational opportunities and help grow the nursing workforce in the Magic Valley,” said Karen Tautfest, department chair of nursing at the College of Southern Idaho.

兼职课程的结构如下：
- 持续时间: 8个学期，包括暑假。
- 课程安排: 每周两次晚上6时至9时； 夏天每周有四个晚上
- 模拟: 第三个晚上上四小时的课，每学期三次。
- 临床经验: 每学期在圣卢克魔法谷轮班三次，每次12小时。

- 现有的平均绩点: 最低3.0（从以前的通识课程计算）
- ATI tea考试： 最低成绩58.7%。

- LPN到ASNP通路： 完整、未过期的LPN认证。
申请截止日期:
- 秋季截止日期：2025年6月1日
- 通知：接受/拒绝邮件将于2025年6月8日前发送
- 2026年夏季LPN转RN申请截止日期为2026年2月1日。
