CSI Joins #CCMONTH Campaign to Improve Awareness of Value, Need to Support Community Colleges

Release Date: Tuesday 2025-04-01

TWIN FALLS – The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) is joining in the celebration of Community College Month (#CCMonth), a month-long campaign coordinated by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT). The goals of #CCmonth are to improve awareness of the economic and academic advantages of attending community colleges like CSI.

“Community colleges play a critical role in the American higher education system,” says CSI President Dr. L. Dean Fisher. “They are often the first point of entry into higher education for students, including older adults, and those seeking career and technical education. The College of Southern Idaho is honored to be the Magic Valley’s community college, and we’re proud of the many ways that we serve the communities across our region.”

Each April, the College of Southern Idaho joins the Association of Community College Trustees in celebrating Community College Month. Please join us in celebrating Community College month at CSI, throughout the state, and across the nation.
